SUPPORTING ORGANIZATIONS

We invite relevant organizations (i.e. development organizations, funders, academe, NGO, think tanks, and industry associations) to organize a 1.5-hour session on proposed topics for BAQ 2018 during the main conference on 14-16 November, or organize a pre-event (e.g. training course, site visit, meeting, or a workshop) longer than 1.5-hour during 12-13 November. We are open to discussing the title and scope of the session with you.

As an organizer of a 1.5-hour breakout session (between 14-16 Nov), you will:

• Together with Clean Air Asia, lead the development of the session format
• Recommend and invite speakers
• Chair the session (or select a Chair for the session) and report results and key recommendations to the Conference Reporting Committee for inclusion in the closing plenary and Conference Report

As an organizer of a pre-event (12-13 Nov), you will:

• Lead the organization of an event that can be open to all or by invitation only; topic to be qualified and discussed with Clean Air Asia
• Organize the event, cover all associated costs, and manage all logistical requirements of the event (The BAQ Secretariat can provide limited logistics support, such as recommend a venue for the event and promote the event to conference participants. One Secretariat staff will be assigned as contact point).

An important criterion in endorsing a pre-event is the commitment made by the supporting organization that majority of the participants will take part in the conference.
